A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

Since September 11, the need to create a more peaceful, prosperous and secure global environment has assumed even greater urgency than before. Tyler Junior College promotes mutual understanding, respect and long-term linkages between the people of the United States and other countries through academic and cultural programs.
At Tyler Junior College we are working hard to help students be informed citizens of the world in the 21st century. Students, faculty and the community are all involved in planning International Day. Over the past fourteen years we have become far bigger and more complex in presenting beautiful exhibits and involving more people. We are proud to present this "one of a kind" event in the region. It attracts the community, students, business, and civic groups and helps everyone be globally informed.
I hope you enjoy TJC's International Day this year. I encourage you to come back to our campus for future cultural activities as we celebrate the unity and diversity of our community.
